As befits a sniper game, in Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts, shooting plays a very important role. Very often you will shoot at your opponents from great distances, and the trajectory of the bullet will be influenced by two main factors - the distance to the target, as well as the strength and direction of the wind. In this section, we explain how to shoot to hit the target.
Distance to the target
A bad way to adjust the sight is that the bullet won't even reach the target.
The distance to the target, as mentioned in the introduction, is one of the two main factors influencing whether a bullet hits a target. Like everything else, the projectiles are also affected by gravity, and they just fall (or rather diagonally, due to the wind - we'll get to that soon) during flight. Naturally, the further away from the target, the more noticeable the bullet drop will be. This means that the player will not be able to hit a long-range target by setting the sight in the center of the enemy's head - the bullet will either shoot through or not reach it at all.
The correct setting of the sight relative to the target at a distance of just over 300 meters.
However, you should start by marking the target - this can be done both with binoculars and with a drone. After that, you will receive information about the distance that separates you from the goal. After selecting a sniper rifle and zooming in, you will see a scale descending to the right from the center of the crosshair, with values depending on the sight mounted on the weapon itself. Usually it is 100, 200, 300 and so on.
These values indicate the distance to the target and the places where the sight must be set in order for the projectile to hit the target. For example, if you are 200 meters away from the target, you should raise the scope accordingly so that the head (or other part of the body that you want to hit) is on a horizontal line with a value of 200. If the target is 250 meters away from you, the sight should be set in the center, between the values 200 and 300.
However, there is a problem here - if you are more than 400-500 meters away, you will have to raise the crosshair so high that you will no longer see the silhouette of the enemy. This can be solved by properly calibrating the scope (the keys that are used for this can be found in the "Controls" section of this manual) - this allows you to move the scale visible from the side up or down, depending on your needs. This greatly simplifies the correct aiming. Looking for an exciting online casino experience? Discover a wide range of games, generous bonuses, and quick payouts at Vavada .
